WWE icon JBL has come to the defence of Triple H after recent holiday pictures led to a flood of body-shaming comments.
The current WWE Chief Content Officer was enjoying his vacation on a yacht in Greece, alongside his wife Stephanie McMahon.
Holiday images of the couple were obtained and released by TMZ, leading to a lively debate on social media.
Many fans were stunned to see the declining physique of the once-shredded Triple H. Some even poked fun at the ‘King of Kings’.

Former WWE Champion John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield decided to hit back at those same critics.
Speaking on the ‘Something to Wrestle With’ podcast, the former loud-mouth wrestler laid into the internet trolls.
“He’s on a yacht in Greece, and the only thing you can say is, ‘Oh, you know, as a 50-year-old guy, he doesn’t look like he did when he was 20?”
He added: “Would you trade with him? Would you trade him for the bank account and the yacht, for his position? I think nearly everybody would.”
JBL’s rant continued: “Don’t forget to go to your high school reunion this year and look at all the people around you and see how normal people look. And don’t forget to look in the mirror yourself.”
Triple H ‘almost died’
The one major reason behind Triple H’s physical decline stems from his serious cardiac issue in 2021.
The multi-time WWE champion required emergency surgery, one which ended his in-ring career overnight.
Layfield reminded Triple H’s critics about those recent events as his epic rant continued.
“He had a heart attack, he almost died,” he said.
“He’s lucky to not be in a freaking casket right now, buried somewhere. And he’s on a yacht in Greece living his life with his beautiful wife. I mean, yeah, really? Boy, he’s got it rough.”
Layfield’s best line came at the end, with the former wrestler and commentator getting personal with the haters.
He concluded: “I’m so happy that you guys are on your little internet, in your little mommy’s basement, while you’re eating Cheerios for breakfast.”
