Former WWE chairman Vince McMahon celebrated his 80th birthday in style, inviting a host of star-studded names to his New York party.
The billionaire promotor is no longer involved with the company after sensationally quitting in early 2024.
McMahon resigned from his position after former employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit alleging sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and related misconduct.
The former wrestling chief had already stepped down as chairman of the company in 2022, amid an investigation into hush-money settlements.
Last spring, McMahon sold his remaining WWE shares for just under $800million – a move which effectively ended his involvement with the wrestling colossus.
Who attended Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday bash?
With billions of dollars to his name, McMahon reportedly went all out for his birthday, which included live performances from Kid Rock and AC/DC.
According to PW Insider, a number of former and current WWE stars also attended the party.
The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Kane, Gerald Brisco, Sheamus, Bruce Prichard, JBL, Sgt. Slaughter, and Ron Killing – also known as R-Truth – were in attendance.
John Cena, who is in the midst of his farewell tour with the WWE, also turned out to wish his former boss a happy birthday.
McMahon famously fired Cena during a WWE storyline back in 2011 following his defeat to CM Punk.
Cena is now on his way to Paris as he prepares to make one of his final continental appearances for the company.
McMahon’s son Shane was part of the birthday celebrations as well.
The pair were recently linked with starting a brand new wrestling promotion, though Shane has since denied those reports.
The story was confirmed by veteran wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer.
Speaking on his Wrestling Observer platform, he said: “He’s not starting a wrestling promotion, I can tell you that. He’s starting an entertainment company.”
McMahon has since launched ’14th & I’ which is a private investment and entertainment firm.
