Nearly two months on from the death of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, details of his will are beginning to emerge.
According to recent media reports, Hogan’s daughter Brooke has received none of his $5million fortune.
The 37-year-old was not shocked by the news, claiming that was what she asked for.
“His decision is no surprise to me,” Brooke revealed to TMZ Sports.
“It’s what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets.
“My dad knows I’m a hard worker and I have been surviving without his money for a long, long time.”
The wrestling great passed away on July 21 due to an acute myocardial infarction – in other words, a heart attack.
Hogan left behind around $5million worth of assets for his beneficiaries.
More details of Hulk Hogan’s financial wealth emerge
Brooke has claimed that she has supported herself through her own work. She has also battled through her own financial issues in years gone by.
Despite the vast amounts of wealth accumulated by her father, she believes that money never mattered in their relationship.
Brooke argues that her only wish upon her father’s death was that his image, trademarks and estate were handles with care.
Hogan’s son, Nick, officially filed legal documents which state the former wrestler left millions behind in assets.
According to the US Weekly, Nick is the sole beneficiary of his father’s estate.
The outlet also revealed that Hogan’s real estate portfolio is estimated at $11 million. However, that could be controlled by a trust or LLC – a Limited Liability Company.
Nevertheless, Hogan’s will does consist of $799,000 in personal and intellectual property, $200,000 in cryptocurrency, and his right to publicity, which is estimated at a $4 million value.
