HOW SHOCK TURN ON SETH ROLLINS CAN CREATE A NEW WRESTLEMANIA MAIN EVENTER

Following Bron Breakker’s shock turn on Seth Rollins, WWE can make a new WrestleMania main eventer and this is how they should do it…

The climax of this week’s episode of WWE Raw sent shockwaves around the wrestling industry as ‘The Vision’ imploded.

Riding high following a long-overdue victory over Cody Rhodes in the main event of Crown Jewel, WWE world heavyweight champion Rollins closed out Raw with fellow faction members Breakker and Bronson Reed, who attacked Jey Uso, LA Knight and new No.1 contender for the title, CM Punk.

As they have done throughout this year, Rollins, Breakker, Reed and manager Paul Heyman finished Raw with their hands held high as the credits began to roll, though this ending was different as Breakker shockingly laid waste to the world heavyweight champion with a brutal spear.

Reed took no persuading to follow suit as he landed a huge tsunami on Rollins before Heyman also turned his back on the champion to seemingly align with the two young stars.

This sudden turn was a massive surprise as ‘The Vision’ had only been going for around six months and a betrayal had not been expected until at least early next year.

There have been hints at this turn dropped in recent weeks as Rollins has belittled the importance of Breakker, Reed and Heyman, though real-life circumstances appear to have forced WWE to speed up this story as it’s been widely reported that the champion has suffered a serious shoulder injury.

So, with Rollins facing months on the sidelines, WWE had no choice but to pull the trigger on Breakker stepping out from under his former mentor’s shadow and this could be a blessing in disguise.

‘The Vision’ has not been going for long, but the faction has been incredibly effective in legitimising Breakker and Reed as future top stars as their standing in WWE has improved significantly in recent months.

While Rollins’ injury is a shame for him and WWE, it does give Triple H and Co. the perfect opportunity to fast-track Breakker’s rise to becoming one of the company’s biggest attractions, and this can be achieved in five steps…

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event – November 1, 2025

Before the dramatic shenanigans orchestrated by Breakker to end the last episode of RAW, CM Punk won a triple threat match against LA Knight and Jey Uso to earn a future world heavyweight title shot.

Initially, this was expected to lead to the latest chapter of his storied rivalry against Rollins, though his injury means the No.1 contender needs a new opponent for the world heavyweight title at next month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.

On next week’s Raw, Breakker is still in possession of the title after Rollins’ shoulder injury forced him to vacate, and he lobbies for General Manager Adam Pearce to immediately instil him as the new champion.

Naturally, Pearce denies this request but books another triple threat match to decide CM Punk’s opponent for the vacant belt, with Breakker facing LA Knight and Jey Uso.

Breakker wins this match via nefarious means, taking advantage of the no disqualifications rule in triple threat matches and pinning LA Knight with the help of Reed.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk uses his experience to outsmart Breakker at certain points as he reaches the brink of another world title win, though he is denied a three-count by interference from Heyman.

This distraction is enough for Breakker to seize the moment and defeat CM Punk via a trademark spear to become a world champion at the age of 28.

WWE Survivor Series: War Games – November 29, 2025

The next WWE premium live event is Survivor Series, and by this point, Breakker’s group is not short of enemies en route to the annual four-on-four War Games match.

In the run-up to this match, the throw-together babyface unit of CM Punk, LA Knight, Uso and Roman Reigns gets the better of Breakker and Reed due to their superior numbers, though that changes once Heyman pulls a few strings to level the playing field.

The New Vision should add another future top star to the unit and former NXT champion Oba Femi feels like the perfect fit, while the remaining spot in the team is given to Brock Lesnar after Heyman called in a favour from his long-time friend.

The War Games match is bedlam, with the babyface team eventually overpowered by Breakker’s men, with the newly-crowned world heavyweight champion further cementing himself with a second pinfall victory over CM Punk.

Post-match, The New Vision stand tall, though Lesnar gets into a heated exchange with Breakker as they tug over the title. Heyman then desperately intervenes to prevent this situation from boiling over, with Lesnar eventually leaving the ring alone and keeping his eyes firmly set on Breakker…

WWE Royal Rumble – January 31, 2026

After Breakker followed up back-to-back wins over CM Punk with successful title defences on TV against Uso and LA Knight, Reigns returns from his latest lay-off to set his sights on the world heavyweight champion and makes a title challenge for the Royal Rumble.

Breakker and Reigns are barely kept apart by security in the weeks leading up to this event, thus forcing General Manager Pearce to turn their standard title match into a street fight.

As expected, Breakker and Reigns put on a barnburner as their brawl heads all over the arena. In the closing stages of the match, Reed and Oba Femi attack the challenger, though they are neutralised by Reigns’ cousins, the Usos.

Jey and Jimmy hit Uso splashes on Reed and Oba through separate announce tables in stereo. However, when Jey pushes a steel chair into the ring for Reigns, Breakker grabs it first and lays out the three Anoaʻi family members before hitting a spear to retain his title.

This is another statement win over a huge name for Breakker, while Reigns’s post-match chastising of Jey Uso continues the Bloodline story that culminates in a match between the pair at WrestleMania.

WWE WrestleMania 42 – April 18 and 19, 2026

Also at the Royal Rumble, CM Punk wins the men’s rumble match to set up a WWE championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, while the Elimination Chamber decides Breakker’s challenger.

The first seeds of dissent in The New Vision are planted as Reed and Oba Femi compete in the Elimination Chamber match, though Lesnar outlasts them in the closing stages to book his spot at WrestleMania against Breakker.

Following his dominant win over John Cena at WrestlePalooza, at War Games and at the Elimination Chamber, Lesnar’s rebuild into a seemingly unbeatable force is complete as Breakker is given his biggest test to date.

In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Breakker faces more adversity as Lesnar systematically destroys Reed and Oba to even the odds and force the champion to have a straight one-on-one match for the title.

Breakker vs Lesnar and Rhodes vs CM Punk are the main events of the two-night WrestleMania, with Breakker’s first of many in this slot being his latest coming-out party.

Despite fighting alone, Breakker overcomes a war with Lesnar to retain his title and look more dominant than ever as a legitimate top guy in WWE.

WWE Raw after WrestleMania – April 20, 2026

The next night, Breakker’s ego is through the roof as he addresses the crowd alongside Heyman and the returning Reed and Oba Femi.

Breakker is given an irate reaction from Reed and Oba Femi upon proclaiming that he no longer needs his fellow faction members after single-handedly defeating Lesnar, but just as all three men stare off in the ring… Rollins’ music hits.

Rollins is back from his six-month layoff and embraces the love of the crowd as a returning babyface, but he turns serious as he marches down to the ring to confront Breakker, Reed, Oba Femi and Heyman.

Willing to fight everyone in the ring, Rollins shows no sign of fear as he walks up the ring steps and prepares to step through the ropes for the first time since October, but as he does, Reed and Oba Femi step back from Breakker and exit the ring.

Sick of being exploited by the champion, Reed and Oba Femi abandon Breakker to head out on their own path, leaving the champion to brawl with Rollins.

What follows is a post-Mania feud between Breakker and Rollins for the title. The champion narrowly wins to retain the belt, though new babyface Reed dethrones him at WWE SummerSlam.

This is a setback for Breakker, but it rounds off an extraordinary 18 months for the WWE superstar, who becomes a world champion for the first time and defeats several big names to cement himself at the top of the mountain for many years to come.
