WATCH: CONOR MCGREGOR CELEBRATES SECRET VATICAN WEDDING IN STYLE

Conor McGregor marked his wedding day in style, dancing into the early hours alongside his new wife Dee Devlin after a secret ceremony in the Vatican.

Footage shared on social media showed the former UFC star celebrating at a private party in Rome, cigar in hand, as Lionel Richie’s All Night Long played in the background.

McGregor’s secret wedding at the Vatican

McGregor, 37, married Devlin, 38, on Friday during a low-key ceremony at the Chiesa di Santo Stefano degli Abissini. The small church sits just behind St Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

Only a handful of people knew the wedding was taking place. Confirmation emerged after the ceremony finished.

Shortly afterwards, McGregor and Devlin appeared in public for the first time as newlyweds. They travelled through Rome in a white 1930s Rolls-Royce Phantom III, decorated with flowers and ribbons.

McGregor wore a black tuxedo with a waistcoat and bow tie. Devlin wore a white lace dress and diamond earrings.

Dancing into the night

The celebrations continued later that evening at an undisclosed location. Guests enjoyed live music and a roll-your-own cigar station at the party.

In one video, McGregor posed for photos with Devlin before breaking into dance moves. He raised his arms, cigar still in hand, as they joined other guests on the dancefloor.

The Vatican setting carried personal meaning for McGregor and Devlin, who are practising Catholics.

Their original hope of marrying in the Sistine Chapel was not possible under Vatican rules.

Instead, they chose a smaller venue close to St Peter’s Basilica. The decision allowed them to keep the ceremony private while still holding it in a place that mattered to them.

McGregor has often spoken about Devlin’s role in his life. He previously credited her with supporting him long before fame followed.

“Dee is a lifesaver for me,” McGregor once said. “I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for her.”

Life beyond the spotlight

The couple share four children and have remained together through McGregor’s turbulent years outside the cage.

That period included legal battles and a failed bid to run for the Irish presidency last year.

Devlin has consistently defended McGregor in public statements, stressing the strength of their relationship and family.

McGregor is currently planning a UFC comeback at the White House card.
