Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has put his comeback plans aside in order to announce a business venture with Donald Trump Jr.
The Irishman has a lot on his plate at the moment, including a potential MMA comeback in 2026 and an unlikely presidential bid in Ireland.
McGregor has recently entered the UFC’s drug testing pool, suggesting he is serious about a return to the sport.
The 37-year-old is undoubtedly looking to compete on the UFC’s White House card next July. A number of other fighters have also expressed interest in competing on the high-profile show.
McGregor has not fought in the UFC cage since his 2021 defeat to Dustin Poirier – his second successive defeat against the American.

McGregor has made a lot of recent headlines about a potential presidential bid in Ireland. However, politics is not the only thing on his mind away from the octagon.
In recent days, the Irishman announced he is teaming up with Donald Trump Jr in the world of business.
McGregor, who is a backer in a company called MMC.inc, announced on Tuesday that the son of the current United States president would be joining as a strategic advisor.
The company in question is focused on growing MMA though participation and engagement.
