US OPEN BROADCASTERS TOLD NOT TO AIR DONALD TRUMP BOOS DURING FINAL

US Open broadcasters have been told not to air boos and negative reactions to Donald Trump during Sunday’s men’s final.

The instruction lands as the president plans a high-profile return to Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Broadcasters told don’t air Trump boos

An internal email to broadcast partners says Trump will be shown on the anthem shot before the match, then asks networks to avoid any “disruptions or reactions” linked to his presence.

The note covers the world feed, the Ashe court feed, and ENG crews working around the venue.

Organisers plan to show him during one of the noisiest moments of the day, which naturally buries crowd audio.

The guidance then seeks to limit any follow-up coverage if dissent breaks out elsewhere in the stadium.

Trump plans to watch from a suite at Ashe, with security and logistics scaled up across the site.

Airspace restrictions and helicopter schedule adjustments have already nudged travel plans for those shuttling to Flushing Meadows.

The last time Trump appeared at the US Open, Serena Williams faced Venus and the reception turned hostile.

Donald Trump received boos upon entry in 2015, and that clip continues to circulate ahead of his return to his hometown slam.

This producer note arrives on a day that hardly needs extra subplots.

Sinner faces Alcaraz trilogy

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz meet for a third straight Grand Slam final in 2025, completing a rare trilogy that now defines the sport’s new era.

Sinner defended his Australian Open title in January, then Alcaraz outlasted him in a five-set epic at Roland Garros.

Sinner answered on the grass, beating Alcaraz at Wimbledon to level the year’s major finals at one apiece.

Their meetings have produced pace, poise, and momentum swings that detonate match plans.

The rubber match in New York decides who owns 2025, at least until they do it again.

Alcaraz took a diplomatic view of the presidential cameo. “It is a privilege for the tournaments having the president from every country just to support the tournament, to support tennis, and to support the match,” he said.
