Cristiano Ronaldo proposed to Georgina Rodriguez after more than nine years together, ending constant speculation about their future.
The Portugal star gave Rodriguez a diamond engagement ring reportedly worth several million pounds.
The 31-year-old model and reality TV personality confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing a photo of the ring with the caption: “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”

Ronaldo, 40, and Rodriguez share five children. Two are their biological daughters, Alana and Bella. Rodriguez is also stepmother to Cristiano Jr. and twins Mateo and Eva.
Over the years, Ronaldo has often called her his “wife” in public, fuelling talk that they had already married in private.
The Al-Nassr forward did not stop at the ring. Reports say he marked the occasion with high-end gifts worth more than $250,000.
These include a white electric Porsche Taycan valued at $99,060, plus Dior and Louis Vuitton fashion worth $31,750. He also gave her two luxury watches, a $53,340 Patek Philippe and a $67,310 Audemars Piguet.
A source close to the couple said Ronaldo had been planning the proposal for some time.
“He wanted to make it so special for his special one,” they said. The source added that the wedding could take place after next year’s World Cup in North America, though no date is set.
Rodriguez has faced playful questions about marriage for years, even joking about it on her Netflix series.
“(My friends are) always joking about the wedding,” she said. “‘When is the wedding?’ Since Jennifer Lopez’s song ‘The Ring or When’ came out, they started singing it to me. And well, this is not up to me.”
The couple are celebrating in Spain before Ronaldo’s Saudi Pro League season resumes. Photos on social media show them with family aboard a luxury yacht, enjoying a rare break before the forward returns to action.
