WATCH: KHALIL MACK SUFFERS GRUESOME ARM INJURY AS CHARGERS BEAT RAIDERS

Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Khalil Mack left Monday Night Football after suffering a gruesome arm injury against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The incident came late in the first quarter when Mack and teammate Troy Dye converged on Raiders wideout Tre Tucker. Mack’s left arm jammed awkwardly beneath Dye as they hit the turf, leaving the veteran in clear pain.

He quickly left the field and entered the medical tent. The Chargers listed him as questionable, but by halftime, he had removed his pads. Cameras then showed him with his arm in a sling, confirming his night was over.

Graphic replays circulated online, showing Mack’s arm bend unnaturally as he attempted the tackle. It was a cruel moment for the nine-time Pro Bowler, who had already recorded his first sack of the season.

Mack, 34, has long been one of the NFL’s fiercest edge defenders.

Since joining Los Angeles in 2022, he has stacked 31 sacks in three seasons, including a monster 17-sack year in 2023. His 108.5 career sacks rank 30th all-time and fourth among active players.

Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed Khalil Mack will undergo scans to determine the severity of the injury. “We’ll see what the scans say, but any time you see a player in a sling at halftime, it’s never a good sign,” he admitted.

Looks pretty bad to us, Jim!

The Chargers will now need others to step up. With Joey Bosa gone, Bud Dupree, Tuli Tuipulotu, Kyle Kennard, and Caleb Murphy are next in line.

Los Angeles still beat the Raiders 20-9 to move to 1-1 on the year. Even so, the sight of Mack leaving in a sling overshadowed the result and raised major concerns about the weeks ahead.
