Barstool Sports chief Dave Portnoy marked his Fox TV debut in explosive fashion after tearing into Ohio State during his inaugural broadcast.
Portnoy was drafted in by the network to rival ESPN’s College GameDay which features the ever-popular Pat McAfee.
The 48-year-old certainly made his presence felt as he made his maiden appearance on Saturday’s ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ show.
Tension was already in the air ahead of the broadcast, with reports claiming Portnoy was banned from Ohio State’s stadium due to his long-running criticism.
The Barstool boss, who is a giant Michigan Wolverines supporter, was in fine form as he went after Ohio State from the very beginning.
Portnoy came out for the show singing ‘The Victors’ before cutting a WWE-style promo towards a riled crowd.

The new Fox addition told Ohio State fans to ‘shut up’ before verbally tearing into their team.
He said: “I want a moment of silence for all you Ohio State morons who have been saying ‘here comes the hammer. Michigan’s getting the death penalty’.
“I’ve heard people say ‘Big Noon only hired Dave to troll Columbus. We don’t want noon kickoffs’. Well we have noon kick offs, too. I’m not here to troll you. You guys are being so rude.”
Portnoy then revealed a shirt that read ‘Still Can’t Beat Michigan’.
This was a reference to the fact that Ohio State have not beaten Wolverines since 2019 – not even during their national championship run last season.
“You can’t beat us,” he joked. “That national title you have means nothing to every single one of you.
“I’m not here to troll you. I’m here to root for the Big 10 and it goes through Ann Arbor. Until you can beat us it will always go through Ann Arbor.”
