TAYLOR SWIFT FLAUNTS LUXURY ENGAGEMENT RING FROM TRAVIS KELCE THAT COST ‘UP TO $5M’

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce confirmed their engagement with a flower-filled Instagram shoot, but it was the ring that stole attention.

Kelce worked with designer Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, choosing an old mine brilliant cut diamond on a simple gold band. The Kansas City Chiefs star popped the question with the antique-inspired piece, which Swift proudly showed off.

Fine jeweler Hannah Florman estimated the diamond at around eight carats, stressing the rarity of such a high-quality antique stone. “High-color antiques are extremely rare,” she explained, noting that sourcing a stone of this size and quality would inflate the cost.

Experts assess cost

Ann Grimmett of Jared Jewelers agreed on the size, suggesting nine carats, with side stones adding a vintage touch. Her price estimate ranged from $250,000 to $500,000, though she admitted antique stones of this scale can push valuations higher.

Neil Dutta of Angelic Diamonds valued the ring between $1.3 and $1.5 million, praising its warm, romantic yellow gold setting.

Marrow Fine founder Jillian Sassone emphasized its uniqueness, pointing out that no two old mine diamonds are ever identical.

Celebrity jeweler George Khalife delivered the boldest prediction, claiming the stone could be worth up to $5 million. “The ring seems to come with some serious history,” he said, describing it as rare and hand-cut.

Other jewelers have offered slightly different takes, showing just how tricky it can be to value a piece like this. Steven Singer suggested the stone could be closer to 7.5 carats. He placed its worth between $1 million and $2 million. Rich Goldberg described the design as “timeless,” adding that it could influence jewelry trends in the months ahead.

The antique look was a deliberate choice. Experts noted that Swift’s style leans toward classic pieces instead of modern celebrity staples.

Lubeck, who founded Artifex in New York last year, specializes in bespoke vintage-style designs with delicate hand engraving. Swifties quickly spotted details on the band, with some convinced they could see a tiny “T” etched into the gold.
