SAUCE GARDENER HOOKS UP VIRAL CRYING FAN FOLLOWING COLTS TRADE

SAUCE GARDENER HOOKS UP VIRAL CRYING FAN FOLLOWING COLTS TRADE

It’s not easy being a New York Jets fan, and for one kid, the Sauce Gardner trade made it’s pure heartbreak.

When dad T.J. broke the news that the team had traded cornerback Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts, his young son immediately burst into tears, shouted “I don’t like the Jets anymore,” and stormed off.

Unfortunately for him, the emotional moment was recorded and uploaded to social media for the world to see. The clip has since gone viral, racking up more than 3.5 million views on X and counting.

Sauce Gardner trade sends shockwaves

The Jets shipped Gardner to Indianapolis in a blockbuster deal, receiving two future first-round picks and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell in return.

It’s a move that stunned fans, as Gardner, 25, was seen as a long-term franchise cornerstone after earning two All-Pro selections and a Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

For the crying youngster, though, it was a simple matter of betrayal. “Now I don’t like the Jets,” he said through tears. “I like the Colts now!”

Gardner himself saw the viral clip and couldn’t resist chiming in.

Reposting the video, he joked, “You should’ve at least waited ’til tmrw,” adding two crying emojis.

But Gardner didn’t stop there. The Colts joined in, posting a follow-up video confirming that Sauce had sent the boy, now identified as Bryce, two signed Indianapolis jerseys as a gesture of thanks for his loyalty.

A happy ending for Bryce?

Bryce may have had his heart broken on camera, but things turned around fast.

Within 24 hours, his tears had earned him a personal shout-out from one of the NFL’s best defenders and enough Colts gear to make a clean switch of allegiance.

As for his father, filming your child’s first trade heartbreak is prime sports Dad behavior.

For Bryce, though, life as a Colts fan already has its perks. Plus, he might finally get to see ‘his’ team win a few games.
