Stefon Diggs stepped into the rap spotlight after Offset dropped a surprise album and sparked talk of a possible diss toward the New England Patriots star.
The New England Patriots receiver has found himself name-checked in Offset’s surprise Halloween album, which appears to take aim at Diggs and his relationship with Cardi B.
Offset released Haunted by Fame on October 31, dropping lyrics that fans quickly linked to his estranged wife and the NFL star.
On the track No Sweat, the former Migos rapper spits: “How the f*** you leave Jordan for Rodman? You a fool if you think that I’m hurt.”
The basketball reference paints himself as the Jordan in the scenario, implying that Cardi, now expecting a child with Diggs, has traded greatness for a role player.
He goes further in the verse, adding: “How you married and still givin’ birth? Get some help, b***h, you goin’ berserk.”
Cardi B and Diggs’ relationship
Cardi and Diggs first went public in May when they were spotted courtside at a Knicks game.
The pair confirmed her pregnancy in September, marking her fourth child and first with the Patriots receiver.
Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024, but the split remains legally unfinished.
In a candid chat on X last month, she claimed Offset was delaying proceedings by demanding she cover his tax debts.
“The only way I can get out of my marriage is if I pay for somebody else’s taxes,” she said.
Cardi’s relationship with Diggs represents a fresh start after years of public ups and downs with her ex.
Diggs’ rise in the NFL
The 31-year-old Maryland native joined the Patriots this year after stints with the Vikings, Bills, and Texans.
A fifth-round pick in 2015, Diggs became one of the league’s most consistent wide receivers, known for his sharp route-running and relentless drive.
His career highlights include the “Minneapolis Miracle” with Minnesota in 2018 and leading the NFL in receptions and receiving yards with Buffalo in 2020.
Now in New England, he has quickly become the Patriots’ top target and locker-room leader.
The crossover attention
While neither he nor Cardi B has publicly responded, the verse has already gone viral across X and TikTok.
Fans are debating whether the lines were genuine shots or just lyrical theatre.
For now, Diggs remains focused on football as New England prepare for a divisional clash against the Bills — the team that once made him a superstar.
