POST MALONE AMONG THE STARS SET TO HEADLINE NFL THANKSGIVING HALFTIME

Post Malone is just one of three names to feature in the NFL Thanksgiving halftime show. Three games, three stadiums, three huge names.

Between the turkey, the football and the family rows over the remote, fans will get a full dose of live music from some of the biggest acts in the country.

We start in Dallas, where Post Malone headlines the Cowboys’ halftime show against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The team’s Thanksgiving slot is one of the most-watched broadcasts of the year. The 30-year-old, who grew up in Syracuse, is a Cowboys fan.

Post Malone lands Cowboys halftime slot

Post Malone has deep ties to the Cowboys. His father worked for the team when the family moved to Texas, and he has never been shy about his support.

The club announced the booking earlier this month, confirming he will front the annual Red Kettle Kickoff for The Salvation Army.

“I’m from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years,” he said. “It’s a real honor.”

The multi-genre star has collected 18 Grammy nominations and crosses pop, hip-hop and country with ease.

Jack White returns home for Lions vs Packers

The Detroit Lions tapped Jack White for their halftime show against the Green Bay Packers.

Eminem now oversees the franchise’s Thanksgiving entertainment, and he started his new role by choosing a hometown giant.

White, a 12-time Grammy winner, rose to global fame with The White Stripes before launching a successful solo career.

He was also inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month, adding another milestone to a catalogue that spans more than two decades.

Detroit fans know him well. He once performed the national anthem on guitar at a Tigers game, and he remains one of the city’s most recognisable musical exports.

Lil Jon headlines Ravens vs Bengals

Thanksgiving night ends in Baltimore, where Lil Jon takes the stage during Ravens vs Bengals.

The rapper and producer won a Grammy for “Yeah!” in 2005 and famously helped ignite the crunk era with Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz.

He also joined Usher during last season’s Super Bowl halftime show, delivering a burst of energy with “Turn Down for What.”
