MICAH PARSONS MADE THIS TOUCHING GESTURE TO COMFORT YOUNG DALLAS COWBOYS FAN IN TEARS

Micah Parsons showed his softer side after leaving the Dallas Cowboys, reaching out to a child who went viral in tears over the news.

The 26-year-old had just finalized a blockbuster trade to the Green Bay Packers. His new four-year deal is worth $188million. It ended months of tension with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and closed the door on Parsons’ time in Dallas.

That standoff stretched back to August 1, when Parsons asked to be moved. In a personal statement, he explained his frustration.

Micah Parsons defends position

“Yes, I wanted to be here. I did everything I could to show that I wanted to be a Cowboy and wear the star on my helmet. I wanted to play in front of the best fans in sports and make this America’s team once again.

“The team my pops and I grew up cheering for way up in Harrisburg, PA. Unfortunately, I no longer want to be here. I no longer want to be held to close-door negotiations without my agent present.

“I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization, our fans and my teammates. Or narratives created and spread to the media about me.”

The Cowboys eventually granted his request on August 28. For many fans, the departure was hard to accept. None expressed it more vividly than a young boy named Isaac.

His mother, Lesley Zermeno, filmed the moment she told him Parsons was heading to Green Bay.

The video captured Isaac crying in the car, distraught because he had just lost his favorite NFL player. Shared on TikTok, the clip garnered over 4.5 million views in just three days.

A touching gesture

Parsons spotted it and first replied with a short message: “I’m sorry! 😓” But he didn’t stop there. He reached out directly to Isaac’s family and arranged a FaceTime call to cheer him up.

“I saw that video, I’m sorry, bruh,” Parsons told the boy. Isaac assured him it was okay, but the star went further. “I hope you know, in life, things happen that you can’t control, but you just got to keep going.”

He also promised to send Isaac a Packers jersey, joking that the boy would need good grades or his mom could keep it. Most of all, he thanked him for his passion.

“Even though you’re a big Cowboys fan, I hope that you still follow me and my career, because that’s what it’s all about. Passionate fans. That just meant a lot to me. I hope you know that.”

Zermeno later wrote, “Thank you so much to Micah Parsons & his team 🥹 Isaac was so nervous he couldn’t get his words out 🥲💚💙 this means the world to him!”

The follow-up video drew another 230,000 views. Fans praised Parsons for his kindness, calling him “a class act” and “a guy with a good heart.”
