MADISON BEER AND JUSTIN HERBERT SPARK SWIFT-KELCE STYLE ROMANCE BUZZ

Madison Beer and Justin Herbert lit up social media after fans spotted them together, fuelling rumours of the NFL’s next power couple.

The pop star and the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback posed together at a music video shoot in Los Angeles. Beer, dressed in angel wings and a white dress, introduced Herbert to crew members before the pair left together in his car.

Fans quickly drew comparisons to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The two play in the same division, so talk of a new “WAGs rivalry” was inevitable. One Chargers supporter even joked that if Swift could help Kelce to another Super Bowl, Beer might provide Herbert with the same luck.

It isn’t the first time they’ve been linked. Sleuths unearthed photos of Beer attending a Chargers game in December 2024. Herbert excelled that night, throwing for 284 yards and two touchdowns against Denver. Supporters are now begging Beer to be in the stands every week.

Herbert’s career numbers suggest he doesn’t need much help. Drafted sixth overall in 2020, he has already surpassed 21,000 passing yards and thrown 137 touchdowns.

In 2024, he posted one of his most efficient years yet, finishing with 3,870 yards, 23 touchdowns and just three interceptions under new head coach Jim Harbaugh. His 23:3 touchdown-to-interception ratio ranks among the best in NFL history.

Even so, playoff success continues to elude him. Herbert’s Chargers fell in the Wild Card Round last season, where he threw a career-high four interceptions. That frustration has fans hoping off-field romance might translate into on-field good fortune.

Beer, meanwhile, is no stranger to the spotlight. First discovered when Justin Bieber shared one of her YouTube covers, she signed with Epic Records in 2019.

Her debut album Life Support arrived in 2021, followed by Silence Between Songs in 2023, which earned a Grammy nomination.

More recently, she landed another Grammy nod for “Make You Mine,” released in 2024. With more than 40 million Instagram followers, she is firmly established as one of pop’s rising stars.

Together, the 26-year-old singer and the 27-year-old quarterback make for an eye-catching pairing.

Whether or not it’s serious, the Swift-Kelce comparisons show no sign of slowing down. Fans are already predicting MVP campaigns and Super Bowl runs if Justin Herbert and Madison Beer get together.
