JARED ALLEN WARDROBE MALFUNCTION STEALS THE SHOW AT HALL OF FAME CEREMONY

Jared Allen officially joined football immortality at the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony. But the NFL legend didn’t just take home a gold jacket; he went viral, too.

The five-time Pro Bowler tore his pants on stage in Canton while performing his signature sack celebration.

Allen had just received his gold jacket when he hit his old calf-roping move one last time. The crowd roared, but his trousers didn’t survive.

“You know, I got caught up in the moment,” Allen said days later on Fox & Friends. “I should’ve listened to my wife. She told me those were fitted pants!”

The former Vikings and Chiefs pass-rusher laughed off the wardrobe malfunction, proving once again why fans loved him both on and off the field. A clip of the incident quickly made the rounds online, showing Allen handling it with charm and zero embarrassment.

The Jared Allen Hall of Fame induction was more than just a viral moment, though. The 43-year-old delivered one of the weekend’s most emotional speeches. Wearing his trademark cowboy hat, he thanked his wife, Amy, calling her “a true game elevator” and “one of the smartest people I know.”

He then turned to his daughters, Brinley and Lakelyn.

“You two are my legacy,” he said. “If all they talk about is this gold jacket after I’m gone, then I failed as a father, a husband and a friend.”

He spoke about motivation, legacy, and what kept him going. “Why is what makes you different; it’s your long game,” Allen said, before summing up his mindset as “fear, respect, and the pursuit of greatness.”

“I apply my why to everything in my life,” he continued. “To my walk with Christ, my marriage and being a father.”

He ended his speech with a message for his daughters. “You are both so talented, and I cannot wait to see what you both decide to do,” he said. “So always put Christ first, find your why, dream big dreams and always pursue greatness in whatever you do.”

Drafted in the fourth round in 2004, Allen went on to rack up 136.0 sacks, placing him 12th on the NFL’s all-time list. He played for the Chiefs, Vikings, Bears and Panthers across 12 seasons, and retired in 2016.

The Jared Allen Hall of Fame celebration may have ended with ripped pants, but it was fitting. Dominant on the field. Honest at the podium. And completely unbothered by an outfit malfunction.

As always, Jared Allen made the moment his own.
