The backlash against male Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders has been stoked even further after a new video showed then dancing in the same bathroom as their female colleagues.
Vikings’ duo Blaize Shiek and Louie Conn have already sent many Minnesota and NFL fans into a rage for just being male cheerleaders, but they’ve continued to turn up the heat on critics of their new profession in their latest video.
The clip, filmed at in Minnesota’s U.S. Bank Stadium, begins with Vikings female cheerleaders Putney and Kathlyn waving their gold pom-poms low in front of a bathroom sink.
They are then joined by Sheik and Conn waving their pom poms above their heads.
The video, which was posted to support Shiek and Conn’s controversial debuts in the Vikings’ preseason game with the Patriots, was captioned: “NEW MEN ON THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS.” and paired with Lizzo’s song “Truth Hurts.”

Some Viking fans immediately took to social media to vent their fury about men “invading women’s spaces” and that they were “just mocking Americans.”
One called for other fans to “boycott Minnesota and the NFL.”
“First the Minnesota Vikings wanted us to support male cheerleaders. Now they want us to celebrate that males should be allowed in the female bathrooms,” an X user wrote.
However, the male cheerleaders have garnered support from many fans including Lizzo who posted: “LETS GOOOO! I need to come to a game!”
Male cheerleaders are not a new thing in the NFL, one-third of teams have them in their cheerleading squads. The Philadelphia Eagles have three.
The Vikings being the regular season in Chicago on Sept 8 for Monday Night Football.
