Nicki Minaj has offered former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant $10million to fight her husband, Kenneth Petty, after an explosive social media feud that began over comments made by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Bryant, who played eight seasons for the Cowboys and made three Pro Bowls, took aim at Jones after the team owner brought up a contract negotiation from nearly a decade ago.
Jones had accused Bryant and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation agency of “ghosting” him during talks while discussing a current holdout involving star linebacker Micah Parsons.
Bryant fired back, denying the claim and warning Jones not to twist the facts. Roc Nation issued its own response and backed Bryant’s version of events.
That’s when Minaj stepped in. The Grammy-nominated rapper, known for hits like Super Bass and Anaconda, has been publicly feuding with Roc Nation over money she claims the company still owes her.
Despite having no direct link to the NFL saga, she replied to one of Bryant’s tweets and threatened to start revealing her own “story times” about Jay-Z, Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, and others.
Bryant responded with a GIF captioned, “I want to play a game.” Minaj doubled down.
“All my stories will be about ROC NATION, JAYZ & THE ALLEGED RACIST DESIREE PEREZ, ROC NATION CEO,” she wrote. “I hope you fully understand the rules. It’s your turn.”
Bryant tried to defuse the situation, saying he was a fan and didn’t want to get involved. But Minaj escalated things by bringing up his 2012 arrest for allegedly assaulting his mother.
That’s when it got personal. Bryant responded: “Say b**** I didn’t go to jail or touch my mama. I was defending myself. I removed her nails from my skin. Folks know I was dealing with some corrupt s*** in Dallas.”
He then turned the focus to Minaj’s husband. Kenneth Petty, a registered sex offender, served time for attempted rape and later pleaded guilty to failing to register in California.
“I don’t get how you can even be on the internet with your husband being a s*x offender… you said we are speaking facts, weird h**… so come on.”
Minaj’s next move was to offer Bryant $10million in cash to fight Petty. She also dragged Bryant’s father into the argument, making further accusations. Bryant said he’d take the money and beat up her husband “right in front of her.”
Nicki Minaj hasn’t responded with a fight confirmation.
What started as an NFL contract dispute has turned into a full-blown celebrity meltdown, with two worlds colliding in a terrible yet hilariously entertaining way.
