Andy Reid says he has plenty of stories about Travis Kelce, though he may never tell some of them, even if a wedding with Taylor Swift happened.
The Kansas City Chiefs head coach joined 96.5 The Fan and was asked which tale he would share if the couple ever walked down the aisle. “Well, there are a few I can’t tell,” Reid laughed.
Pressed for an answer, Reid kept it light but praised his tight end’s generosity away from the field.
“He’s done so many good things, all the things he’s done off the field that people don’t know about, just helping people out. He’s got a big heart that wa,y and I appreciate that the most.”
Reid’s admiration for Kelce’s personality has been consistent throughout their time together in Kansas City.
He often points to moments that never make headlines, from visiting young fans in the hospital to quietly donating to community projects. These, he says, are the qualities that would shape any story he told at a wedding.

The conversation soon shifted to music. Reid revealed he owns Swift’s Red album, a nod to his family’s long-time admiration for the pop star.
He also explained that he met her before Kelce did, through her parents in Pennsylvania when he coached the Philadelphia Eagles.
Swift’s father, Scott, has a love for football and struck up a quick friendship with Reid. “Her dad is a huge football fan, so we hit it off with him,” Reid said.
“Then she became this famous person, arguably the most famous woman in the world, since probably the Queen passed away.”
Reid praised how both Swift and Kelce have handled the attention since dating rumours began in 2023. “They just do it the right way,” he said.
“They’re not a distraction by any means… Absolutely not, because of how they handle it.”
He also credited Swift for bringing more women and girls to the sport. He pointed to the growth of girls’ flag football and increased college opportunities. “Not that it was all tied into [Swift], but she had a big part of that,” Reid said.
As Kelce and Swift prepare for another NFL season, Reid’s respect for the pair is clear. Whether or not a wedding happens, some of his best stories may remain untold.
Constant speculation around a Kelce–Swift wedding grew this week when the pair went house hunting.
