George Kittle found time for a dance break during the San Francisco 49ers’ 34-24 win over the New York Giants.
The tight end caught four passes for 32 yards at MetLife Stadium before showing off his moves to Golden, the hit track from Netflix’s K-Pop Demon Hunters.
He smiled as the song played through the stadium speakers and was later asked about the moment.
Kittle reveals secret love for KPop movie
“It is a great movie,” Kittle said after the game. “I actually got made fun of by multiple people for wanting to watch it. Turns out, great plot, great music, great energy. When they played Golden, the crowd responded, so I thought, let’s have a dance party and get the juices flowing.”

The crowd loved it, and 49ers fans could be heard cheering from all corners of the stadium.
San Francisco moved to 6-3 with the victory, but conversation quickly shifted to the field conditions at MetLife.
Kittle played there for the first time and joined a growing list of players frustrated with the surface.
Kittle slams MetLife Stadium turf
“When someone’s field is the butt of a joke all over social media, maybe someone should take a look at it,” Kittle said. “No NFL field should be the butt of a joke. Ever.”
He added that the league needs consistency between stadiums.
“Most other sports don’t deal with that,” he said. “Basketball players all play on the same hardwood. Soccer players in Europe play on really nice grass. That’s just weird to me.”
His comments followed another serious injury on the same turf.

Rookie defensive end Mykel Williams, the No. 11 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, tore his ACL during the game.
The injury reignited criticism of artificial surfaces, which many players believe increase the risk of serious knee injuries.
Aaron Rodgers’ Achilles tear at MetLife in 2023 sparked the same debate. The NFL Players Association has since urged the league to bring back natural grass.
Kittle said every team should have a safe and standardised surface to protect players.
“All fields should have a level of safety to them,” he said. “There shouldn’t be 12 different turfs. It just doesn’t make sense.”
Despite the controversy, the 49ers delivered their most complete win of the season.
Brock Purdy threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns, while Christian McCaffrey added another on the ground.
