TOM BRADY HITS THE COURT WITH SON JACK AND KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS

Tom Brady’s son, Jack, joined his father and New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns for a workout on the basketball court this week.

Brady shared the photos on Instagram, sparking fresh talk over whether the 18-year-old is leaning toward basketball instead of football.

The first image showed the trio smiling on an indoor court, with Jack standing between his dad and Towns.

Another photo captured Towns and Brady talking while holding basketballs, before Jack took centre stage in a short dribbling clip.

Jack, who stands at 6ft 5, finished the carousel by throwing down a clean dunk.

Brady has spoken often about Jack’s relationship with sport and has stressed that he refuses to push him toward football.

“I never imagined he would play football,” he said previously, adding that he prefers to let his son choose his own path.

He has also described how seriously Jack approaches any sport he tries. “Jack loves sports.

He wants to try hard, and he never wants to disappoint his dad,” Brady said.

Towns added a playful caption to his own post, writing, “Next time we’re running routes?” It tapped into the long-running joke about NBA big men doubling as NFL tight ends, and added a light crossover feel to the moment.

Brady shares Jack with actress Bridget Moynahan. The pair have kept their son’s sporting choices low-profile, though Jack has appeared at football practices in the past and was recently snapped on the golf course with his dad.

Tom Brady on parenting

Brady has been clear about how he views his role as a dad. He has said he never pushes his children toward football. “I’d never want them to do something just because I did it. It’s their life.”

He has also encouraged them to find what motivates them.

“Whatever they choose, I’ll support them. I just want them to find something they love.”

Watching them compete remains one of his favourite parts of parenthood. “Watching my kids play is one of the great highlights of my life.”
