Rod Stewart’s son Sean promised fireworks in his professional boxing debut, and he delivered, as he was knocked out in seconds.
The 45-year-old stepped into the ring on Saturday night in Nashville against streamer BDave, 27, for Misfits Boxing. It lasted all of 15 seconds.
As introductions finished and gloves touched, BDave slipped an early flurry before uncorking a clean overhand right that caught Stewart square on the jaw.
Sean staggered back, dropped his guard for reasons known only to him, and ate another right hand that sent him sprawling to the canvas.
The referee waved it off immediately as Stewart lay flat on his back, giving BDave the fastest knockout in Misfits history.
From ‘gym warrior’ to viral clip
Commentators branded Stewart a “gym warrior,” noting he’d trained since childhood and taken boxing seriously in the build-up.
He’d shared clips of his sparring sessions online, looking sharp enough to suggest he could handle himself.
But the fight went downhill before Rod Stewart could even tune in from London, where he was performing the same night.
Misfits organisers gleefully introduced the newcomer all week as “Rod Stewart’s son,” and by Sunday morning, that label was trending for the wrong reasons.

It was a harsh debut, especially against an opponent nearly two decades younger. Still, at least he can claim he made headlines — just not the chart-topping kind his dad’s famous for.
Past battles off the canvas
Sean’s short night in the ring followed a difficult year away from it. In February, he checked himself into rehab after his family staged an intervention.
He spent time at the Cliffside Malibu facility, an $80,000-a-month centre overlooking the Pacific, where treatments include counselling, yoga, and equine therapy.
A family source had previously stated that Rod was proud of his son for getting help and doing so voluntarily.
“Sean realised he was falling off the deep end again and checked in to save himself,” they said.
The 45-year-old has spoken openly about his struggles with addiction, admitting he began drinking as a teenager in Beverly Hills and later developed substance issues involving harder drugs.
