ROB GRONKOWSKI SAYS ‘SINGLE TOM BRADY’ IS LIVING IT UP — BOTH RALLY BEHIND BILL BELICHICK

Rob Gronkowski has offered a glimpse into life with a newly single Tom Brady, and by his own admission, the roles have completely reversed.

Appearing on The Today Show on Thursday, Gronkowski said his former quarterback is far more fun these days, following Brady’s divorce from Gisele Bündchen, and now seems determined to make up for lost time.

‘We flipped the script’

“Here’s the problem, is we flipped the script,” Gronkowski told co-host Craig Melvin.

“I was single when I first got into the league and Tom was married and I was like, ‘Hey, this guy’s lame. He’ll never go out with me.’ Now he’s going out every weekend and I’m at home with my girl.”

Brady spent most of his New England Patriots career married, while Gronkowski, who has been dating Camille Kostek since 2015, was the more obvious social presence during their playing days.

Now, Gronkowski says, Brady is the one embracing the nightlife.

Reunion sparked by Belichick snub

The segment marked another public reunion for the pair, who have found themselves back in the spotlight together this week for a far more serious reason.

Brady and Gronkowski both spoke out after Bill Belichick was surprisingly left out of the Pro Football Hall of Fame during his first year of eligibility, a decision that has dominated discussion ahead of Super Bowl LX.

“I don’t understand it,” Brady said on Seattle Sports 710 AM.

“I was with him every day. If he’s not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there’s really no coach that should ever be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, which is completely ridiculous, because people deserve it, and he’s incredible.

“There’s no coach I’d ever want to play — I’d rather play for. If I’m taking one coach to go out there to win a Super Bowl, give me one season, I’m taking Bill Belichick. So that’s enough said.”

‘That was a mistake’

Gronkowski echoed that disbelief in even stronger terms during a separate radio appearance.

“Absolutely a****** that he did not make it into the NFL Hall of Fame as a first ballot,” he told 98.5 The Sports Hub.

“The guy has won more Super Bowls than anyone out there, six with the New England Patriots, two with the New York Giants as a defensive coordinator.

“This guy has touched so many lives. He has shared so much knowledge with the game of football. There are so many players and other coaches out there and fans as well, and he’s still sharing his knowledge being at the University of North Carolina.

“He deserved to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He’s clearly going to get in in the future, but it should’ve happened yesterday. That was a mistake.”
