Nikki Bella addressed dating rumours head-on during a Raw appearance in Philadelphia on Monday night after the crowd repeatedly chanted the name of an Eagles defender during her in-ring promo.
Raw rolled into the Xfinity Mobile Arena, just days after the Royal Rumble, with Bella appearing alongside her sister Brie for a live segment on WWE Raw. Early in the promo, Bella paused as the crowd reaction grew louder.
“Is that for the Eagles not getting in the Super Bowl or for us?” she asked.
Brie quickly stepped in with the clarification.
“I actually think they’re saying ‘Coop.’”
Bella smiled, nodded, and chose not to deflect the moment.
“Can you blame a girl for having good taste?” she said. “I mean, Pro Bowl, baby.”
Eagles connection
The chant pointed toward Cooper DeJean, the Eagles cornerback whose popularity has surged in Philadelphia since his breakout second NFL season.
Dating rumours between Bella and DeJean have circulated since December, after Bella shared video from an Eagles game wearing DeJean’s name on her gear.
She also attended Eagles training camp during a previous Raw visit to Philadelphia and posted photos with DeJean on social media.
TMZ reported in January that the two had gone on dates but that Bella still considered herself single. Neither Bella nor DeJean has publicly confirmed a relationship.
The “Coop” chant has become a regular sound at Lincoln Financial Field since the Eagles drafted DeJean out of Iowa in 2024, but it caught Bella off guard once it followed her into the wrestling ring.
Podcast hints and public appearances
Bella previously addressed her Eagles visit on The Nikki and Brie Show podcast, describing the experience as unexpectedly personal.
“It was so magical just to see all the players, to meet everyone,” she said. “They talked with us like we were family. Everyone wanted to know the story of why we were here.”
Brie joked during the exchange that the connection could one day become literal, prompting Bella to quickly steer the conversation elsewhere.
Monday night’s Raw appearance marked the clearest public acknowledgement yet of the rumours.
Bella divorced former Dancing With the Stars professional Artem Chigvintsev in 2024. Chigvintsev was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence later that year, though the Napa County District Attorney declined to file charges. The two share joint custody of their son, Matteo.
