Social media influencer and former gymnast Livvy Dunne can’t even go to the toilet without being verbally abused by members of the public.
Dunne was on a date night with her boyfriend Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, when she revealed to her TikTok followers that she had overheard two girls talking about her appearance while she was taking care of some personal business.
The duo mentioned that they expected the NCAA title winner to be more ‘chopped’ in real life, which is a negative Gen Z and Gen Alpha slang term meaning unattractive.
Dunne, who recently appeared naked in a bubble bath to promote a betting company, then got involved in the conversation from behind the bathroom stall door, before revealing herself to the embarrassed women.
“So I’m just innocently peeing and there’s these girls that are communicating through the stalls and they’re like, ‘Did you see that Livvy Dunne is here? Like, what is she even doing here?’ So then I stop what I’m doing and I try to listen a little closer,” Dunne said.
“And I kid you not, these girls are like my age, or maybe a little younger, but one of them goes, ‘Like, honestly, I thought she’d be more chopped in real life.
“What?! I didn’t even know people used ‘chopped’ in their everyday vocabulary… So naturally I chimed in, and I was like, ‘Oh my god, I heard Livvy Dunne’s the worst.’
“At this point, they’re like, ‘Really? What do you know?’
When Dunne came out of the stall the women, who were washing their hands at the time, were stunned into silence. But still had the audacity to ask for a selfie, which Dunne obliged.
“I think I heard literal crickets,” she said. “But then they asked me for a photo, and I took it.
“Anyways, funny story. The dinner was good. I’m glad I’m not as chopped in real life.”
Dunne captioned her TikTok video, “Glad I’m not chopped, just unc” with the hashtag, “mean girls.”
