Jake Paul unloaded on Gervonta “Tank” Davis after their November 14 fight was cancelled, calling him “an actual walking human piece of garbage.”
The boxing bout was called off just 10 days before it was set to take place in Miami, following fresh assault allegations made against Davis.
Jake Paul destroys Tank Davis
Paul wasted no time firing shots on X, claiming Davis had been a nightmare to work with.
Gervonta Davis is an actual walking human piece of garbage. Working with him is an absolute nightmare. The unprofessionalism, the bizarre requests, the showing up hours late to shoots. To the numerous arrests and related accusations and lawsuits. If you support this man you…

“The unprofessionalism, the bizarre requests, the showing up hours late to shoots,” Paul wrote. “To the numerous arrests and related accusations and lawsuits. If you support this man you support the most vile sin a man can commit.”
Paul said he refused to give Davis “a platform to grow his fans and his bank account,” adding, “My company champions women.”
Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions confirmed they had pulled the plug on the fight following the allegations.
MVP released a statement saying: “Our team has worked closely with all parties to navigate this situation responsibly. While we will not be moving forward with this event, our plan still remains for Jake Paul to headline an event on Netflix in 2025.”
Paul later apologised to everyone involved, including undercard fighters and production staff who had been preparing for the Miami event.

“Sacrificing time with loved ones and kids just for this fool to lose his unintelligent mind again,” he said. “It’s scary that devilish men like this can rise to the top of culture and sports, including in positions of power.”
Paul turns his attentions to UFC beast
Then, because it wouldn’t be a Jake Paul story without more chaos, he turned his attention to Francis Ngannou.
“Just say you already got humiliated in boxing and are scared to lose to Jake Paul,” he posted. “You are light work my friend. Stuck in mud.”
Ngannou responded with a warning of his own.
“Choose your words wisely, boy,” he said. “I agree that you need someone to discipline you for what you did to Mike Tyson, but stay in your lane.”
Paul clapped back, accusing Ngannou of “acting holy” and using his platform to chase attention.
He ended the rant with, “Reality check… I sleep you in boxing and Jon Jones does in… 🛌 💤 😤.”
Paul is now 12–1 as a professional boxer, with his next fight expected to headline Netflix’s upcoming 2025 event.
