David Beckham’s kitchen has become his new arena, and this weekend he was back in action – but not with the help of wife Victoria
The former England captain wasn’t chasing trophies, but he did have a Sunday roast to win.
Victoria Beckham filmed as her husband prepped dinner for their parents, capturing the concentration of a man treating Yorkshire pudding batter like a free kick from 25 yards.
She offered a few words from behind the camera — and, apparently, a little help.

“Stay away,” he said, cutting off Victoria’s offer before it even reached the countertop. “From who?” he asked moments later, deadpan, when she again offered her services.
“Darling, we are not making a ham and cheese toasty,” he said, still whisking the batter.
The clips, posted by Victoria on Instagram, showed David narrating his cooking process while preparing a Sunday roast for both sets of parents.
At one point, she asked whether he wanted another drink. He didn’t hesitate. “Yes, please!” he replied, still working the whisk like a man deep in extra time.
For all the teasing, it was clearly affectionate. Victoria captioned one clip “The parents have arrived!!” and another “We love you all!!!” while showing the full family gathered for dinner — parents, daughter Harper, and a table covered in roast trimmings.
It’s not the first time the pair have joked about their kitchen roles. Victoria told Today last year that she leaves the cooking to her husband.
“I do not do the cooking, I prepare the drinks,” she said, adding, “I’ll be the bartender — someone’s got to do it.”
She’s even joked that Harper says she can “burn water,” a claim she hasn’t disputed.
