NBA STAR JAYLEN BROWN’S DAD ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER AMID ALLEGED PARKING LOT ALTERCATION

The father of NBA superstar Jaylen Brown has been arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of attempted murder.

Brown’s dad, Marselles, was allegedly involved in a parking lot altercation with another man at the All American Park.

According TMZ reports, the dispute was over a parking space, with Brown accused of stabling a man in the stomach.

The victim, who was rushed to a medical facility and remains in a critical condition, is understood to be a youth football coach.

News 3 Las Vegas report that Brown fled the scene, but was later tracked down by the authorities and taken into custody on Thursday morning.

Another report revealed that an initial court hearing has been scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

A statement released by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, said: “Under the above event number and time (5.42 pm ), LVMPD responded to a stabbing in the 1500 block of South Buffalo Drive.

“Officers arrived and located a male suffering from several stab wounds.

“The male was transported to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition.

“The suspect was stopped a short distance away from the scene and detained.

“Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as 57-year-old Quenton Marcelles Brown.

“Brown was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for attempted murder.”

Marselles comes from a boxing background

Brown was a professional boxer from 1989 to 2016, retiring with a professional record of 33-18-1.

The American has shared the ring with a number of big names, including Rocky V star Tommy Morrison and former WBC heavyweight champion Trevor Berbick.

Brown’s son Jaylen is one of the most talent players currently in the NBA.

The 28-year-old helped the Boston Celtics to the NBA Championship back in 2024.

During that championship-winning campaign, Brown was named NBA Finals MVP. He is also a four-time All-Star.
