The sex toy throwing scandal that has rocked the WNBA has now found its way to the NFL, and the police are already involved.
A green sex toy was thrown onto the field at the Tennessee Titans’ preseason NFL game against the Minnesota Vikings, landing near the 6-yard line with near the end of the match.
A security guard was seen running on the field of play to quickly remove the object.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we have a dildo,” reporter Easton Freeze of A to Z Sports said in a video he posted showing the neon green object on the field.
The Metro Nashville Police Department has now been called and the Titans have passed on images of those involved.
The WNBA has been dealing with several incidents of sex throwing over the last month, with one even hitting Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham.
At least three people were arrests over the sex toy throwing trend and some fans have been banned for life from attending games.
At the time Minnesota Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve condemned the actions of the crowd.
“I just want to comment on… this has been going on for centuries. The sexualization of women, this is the latest version of that. It’s not funny,” said Reeve.
“It should not be a butt of jokes on any radio show, or in print, or in any comments.
“The sexualization of women is what’s used to hold women down and this is no different.
“This is just the latest story, and we should write about it in that way. These people that are doing this should be held accountable.
Sparks coach Lynne Roberts also hit out at the pranks.
“We’re not the butt of the joke. They’re the problem, and we need to take action. “It’s ridiculous, it’s dumb

Charles Burgess was arrested by Brooklyn Police for allegedly tossing a dildo and hitting a 12-year-old girl in the leg at a Liberty-Wings game.
Arizona police arrested Kaden Lopez for allegedly throwing a green dildo and hitting a man and his 9-year-old niece during a Mercury-Sun game, while Delbert Carver was arrested by Georgia police for allegedly throwing a sex toy during a July game involving the Dream.
