NBA star D’Angelo Russell has gotten engaged to long-time girlfriend Laura Ivaniukas, who showed off the diamond ring on her social media.
Russell has played 10 years in the NBA since being drafted in 2015, and is with his fifth team: the Dallas Mavericks, after time with the LA Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors.
For around half of his time as an NBA star, Russell has been in a relationship with fashion model Laura Ivaniukas.
The pair have two children together: a son born in 2022 and a daughter in 2024.
They have now taken the next step in their relationship, posting about their engagement on Instagram.

A series of photos show the loved-up pair embracing on a waterfront, with a heart made up of roses behind them. Their children were present to see their parents’ engagement.
Throughout the photos, Ivaniukas, 26, made sure to show off her diamond ring.
Accounts online have been quick to congratulate the pair for their engagement, though Russell has also been hit with jokes from some fans. Indeed, there have been a few X posts suggesting Russell “finally got a ring.”
The point guard has never won the NBA championship, but he’ll surely see getting married to Ivaniukas and the family he has built as the much greater life achievement.
