The champagne had barely popped before Rogers Center turned into a nightclub.
After 32 years of waiting, the Blue Jays finally claimed their ALCS crown, and Toronto lost its mind.
Manager John Schneider summed it up best. “Enjoy the moment,” he shouted, surrounded by soaked players and flashing lights. “You earned the f*** out of this!”

George Springer’s three-run homer in the seventh sealed the win over Seattle, sending fans into disbelief.
The crowd stayed long after the final out, watching their team dance across the infield and lift the trophy that had eluded a generation.
Outside, the celebration spilled onto Front Street. Flags waved, car horns blared, and fans climbed street signs under a shower of blue confetti.

Springer, the hero of the night, stood shirtless for interviews while teammate Myles Straw climbed onto a couch and poured beer over his head.
“Most clutch player in postseason history,” teammate Ernie Clement said nearby. “That home run — it changed everything.”
Outfielder Eric Lauer took things further, waving a huge “American League Champions” flag as the DJ cranked the volume.
“This is why it’s called a baseball family,” he said. “We’re together 90 percent of the year. Everyone gets close, and that’s when special things happen.”

The celebration stretched beyond the clubhouse. Outside, fans flooded Front Street, waving flags and chanting “Let’s go Blue Jays!” until police closed the roads.
Horns blared, people danced on street signs, and Toronto turned into one massive block party.
Back on the field, rookie Trey Yesavage hugged his parents near third base. “We’re pretty numb right now,” his father said. “Excited and numb.”
Guerrero Jr., named ALCS MVP, wasn’t done celebrating. He grabbed a hose and sprayed the few thousand fans who stayed inside the Dome.
“I knew I had to make the country proud,” he said. “My challenge is to bring the World Series back to Canada.”
Let the celebrations begin!
