There was a tense standoff between a couple of MLB fans in Miami on Friday as they battled over a home run ball.
The viral moment took place during a high-scoring clash between the Miami Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies.
Centerfielder Harrison Bader launched an enormous homer far into the stands, leaving fans scrambling for the ball.
One man appeared to outmanoeuvre the rest, claiming the ball and handing it over to his son.
His actions seemingly irked a fellow Phillies fan, who angrily confronted the man. After a brief standoff, he gave the ball back to the woman who took it and walked away.
Fans in the nearby seats, who recorded the tense situation, appeared in shock.

What did the woman say?
Thanks to fan footage, the woman’s furious tirade has been exposed to the rest of the world.
“That was ours,” the woman shouted at the man, who clearly didn’t see the loose ball as fair game and took no notice of the man’s son.
“No, you took it from me!” she yelled. “You took it from me! That was in my hands. That was in my hands.”
The man decided to take the ball away from his son and give it back to the persistent woman.
Thankfully for the man’s disappointed son, the story got back to the Marlins who were quick to make amends.
The team offered the father and son a gift bag a few innings later. After the game, the boy even got to meet Bader, who gave him an autographed bat.
According to reports, the boy was celebrating his birthday at the MLB game. Despite the awkward situation, he and his dad certainly came away from the situation as the winners.
The woman, on the other hand, has been hailed as ‘The Phillies Karen’ by social media users.
