MLB commentators Chris Caray and Dallas Braden were left speechless after a fan performed a sex act during the live broadcast.
Baseball viewers at home were given more than they bargained for when they tuned into Saturday’s game between the Athletics and the Texas Rangers.
The innocuous MLB fixture took a weird turn when the cameras focused in on an apparent couple in the crowd.
At first, there wasn’t much to the clip. The two – a man and a woman – were pictured talking to each other and eating snacks.
The man, who was seemingly aware of the cameras, proceeded to grab the woman’s breast in front of the whole world.
“For the folks at home, I will apologize,” said the lead commentator. Braden turned to his co-announcer and added that he’s ‘a handful my friend’.
Awkward silence followed for the next 30 seconds or so, with the two announcers clearly mulling over their next move.
Thankfully, the pair are absolute professionals and they handled the situation with incredible humor.
The lead commentator delivered a perfect line as the game cut to a commercial break, saying: “A’s down by a few. Trying to grab a couple back…”
Fans watching at home were left in hysterics, though the rest of the game certainly was no laughing matter for the Athletics who lost 9-3 against the Rangers.
Another hilarious MLB moment
Saturday’s impromptu bbob grab came just a few day on from another embarrassing live TV moment.
Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman was caught by the cameras as he plucked a hair out of his nose.
Dodgers play-by-play commentator Joe Davis turned the gross moment into a hilarious one, saying: “Ah! Get it Freddie!”
