ONLYFANS STAR EBANIE BRIDGES SLAMS PAST PROMOTERS AND MAKES JAKE PAUL CLAIM AFTER JOINING MVP

Former world champion Ebanie Bridges has slammed her previous promoters claiming she was ‘never really appreciated’ after signing a new deal with social media star Jake Paul and his Most Valuable Promotions stable.

Bridges, who last boxed in December 2023, decided to step away from the sport in order to start a family with partner, and former world champion, Kell Brook.

Just four months after giving birth Bridges announced she was joining Paul and MVP amid plans for her big boxing comeback.

“I was really happy they contacted me not long after I’d given birth,” she told TalkSPORT. “I’m really appreciative and really excited, it’s such a great promotion that is doing so much for women’s boxing.

“I like what Jake is doing, this was even before he was signing all the girls. He knows how to promote and knows how to market.”

Paul and his MVP brand have been making a serious impact in women’s boxing, mainly with the aid of Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor.

The boxing stable have since signed a number of British talents, including British stars Chantelle Cameron and Savannah Marshall.

Bridges ‘never appreciated’ by past promoters

Bridges, who has a huge following on social media and OnlyFans, may not be one of the biggest boxing names under the MVP banner, but she certainly brings a lot eyeballs and attention.

Previously fighting under Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, Bridges was able to become a world champion, winning the IBF bantamweight championship against Maria Cecilia Roman back in 2022.

“I felt like I was never really appreciated by mainstream promoters,” she added. “When I spoke to Jake I knew it was right. Seeing how he was, he reminds me so much of me with everyone dismissing him in boxing.

“If it’s positive or negative talk it doesn’t matter. And I think it’s great to join forces with someone with a similar mindset as me.”

When will Bridges return to the ring?

Bridges has already posted content on her social media from the boxing gym, indicating her training has already begun.

With a new promotional force behind her, Bridges admitted she is looking forward to making her return, saying: “I’m hoping to be out by December if it’s right and everything is good. It could be a real problem if I rush so I need to be smart and make the right choices.

“My knuckles are itchy and I’m missing punching people in the f***** face. So yeah I really want to be out by the end of the year and want to make a statement.”

Bridges also revealed she wants to ease back into the sport before challenging for any serious silverware. She added: “I need to be smart, my first fight will be a tune-up, nothing too risky.

“Shake it all off and get that feeling again, I’m going to be nervous for my first fight back.

“Next year I want to get back to world titles, but I will definitely be fighting for one next year.”
