GERALD HUSTON PRANK ON CLARESSA SHIELDS ENDS WITH PAPOOSE THROWING THE LITERAL BOOK AT HIM

Comedian Gerald Huston says a joke gone wrong with Papoose and female boxer Claressa Shields could soon head to court.

It appears the comedian from Kansas is preparing to throw the lawbook at Papoose, who threw the literal book at him in Las Vegas!

Huston, best known for walking up to celebrities and calling them by the wrong name, says the prank turned ugly in Las Vegas last month.

It happened after the Canelo Alvarez–Terence Crawford fight, when he spotted boxing star Shields in a crowd and shouted, “Serena Williams!”

According to Shields, the problem was simple — Huston wasn’t filming. She says she didn’t realize it was a bit and tried to walk away. Gerald Huston followed her, still yelling “Serena,” which drew the attention of Papoose.

Clarissa Shields defends Papoose

“The guy walked up to me and he ain’t have a phone in his hand or nothing. And he was like, ‘Oh my God, there goes Serena!’ And all of us who was around looked at him like, ‘Bro, what is you doing?’”

“He keep stepping to me. Now this is where my man, my man, my man, Pap step to him like, ‘Aye bro, chill out. She said that’s not Serena, leave her alone.’”

“Y’all already know what happened. I don’t have to say nothing. Anybody that knows Pap knows what happened, but that’s all that happened.”

What happened next depends on who’s telling the story. Huston claims the rapper threw a stack of books from a distance, leaving a cut on his nose.

Shields insists her boyfriend only stepped in to stop the heckling and that Huston’s story has been twisted.

Police were nearby, but no charges were filed. Huston now says he’s spoken to lawyers about assault and defamation claims.

Gerald Huston claims assault

“I’ve been talking to a lawyer and counsel just because of the lies that have been told about me and spread about my name,” he told TMZ.

“I was assaulted, and they admitted they assaulted me online … but I don’t do my videos for this reason.

That’s why I didn’t wanna mention it, ’cause I don’t do my videos to get the wrong reaction out of somebody and be like ‘oh let me sue you now.’”

“I was assaulted,” he added, joking that he’s “been afraid of any types of books ever since the incident.”

The Claressa Shields prank has since gone viral, with Gerald Huston sharing clips and jokes about the incident.

His videos often walk the line between comedy and chaos, featuring surprise encounters that push celebrity patience to its limit.

Papoose, a veteran New York rapper known for his lyrical precision, hasn’t commented since.
